In a historic moment for Bharat’s civil-defence movement, the Kalki Sena successfully concluded its flagship Counter Terrorist Combat Course 2025 at the Advanced Combat Training Centre, Noida, under the Northern Command. The graduation marked the induction of a new generation of civilian commandos — trained not only in tactical skills but also in discipline, lawful citizenship, and dharmic responsibility.

The ceremony was attended by senior Kalki Sena officials, defence veterans, and community representatives. A solemn oath of service to the nation and Dharma preceded the parade of graduates, underscoring that national security in modern Bharat extends beyond armed forces to every responsible citizen.

A Movement Rooted in Dharma and Discipline

Delivering the keynote address, Wing Commander (Dr.) Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi (Retd.), Chief of Kalki Sena, spoke with the clarity of a soldier and the conviction of a teacher:

“Kalki Sena is committed to empowering Hindus across physical, mental, economic, and social dimensions. We prepare warriors to protect temples, communities, and the sovereignty of Bharat. Our movement is rooted in Vaidik Shakti — where empowerment is a sacred duty, not a slogan.”

Dwivedi emphasised that the organisation operates strictly within the law while promoting collective responsibility towards national security. Its vision integrates Rashtriya Suraksha (National Security) and Rashtriya Punarnirman (National Reconstruction) — a modern reflection of the ancient Sanatan principle that strength and virtue advance together.

Inside the Combat Course

The Counter Terrorist Combat Course 2025 was a multi-tiered programme for men and women from across India, covering:

  • Urban warfare and close-quarter battle

  • Weapon handling and surveillance

  • Self-defence and survival psychology

  • Rescue operations and crisis response

Participants qualified after completing Levels One and Two and faced rigorous military-style evaluations. Anand Pratap Singh, Public Relations Officer, noted:

“Each course is designed with escalating intensity to instill discipline and reflex standards comparable to elite forces. Beyond physical training, it develops mental frameworks for decision-making under stress — crucial for civilian responders today.”

The programme was overseen by Commando Instructor Varun Rawat, Director (Operations Training), Northern Command:

“We train Kalki warriors up to Level Four with standards comparable to special forces and police commandos. Our goal is not militarisation but creating disciplined, self-reliant citizens ready to support authorities during any crisis — natural or man-made.”

The Architect of Civil Empowerment

At the heart of Kalki Sena is Wing Commander Pushkal Dwivedi, a Special Forces veteran, strategic researcher, and education reformer. Known globally as the “Father of Self-Defence Science,” Dwivedi has transformed combat experience into an academic discipline included in the Bhartiya Shiksha Board (BSB) syllabus, covering combat psychology, situational awareness, and national ethics.

Dwivedi’s academic foundation spans Lucknow University, IIM Ahmedabad, ISB Hyderabad, MICA Ahmedabad, IIT Mumbai, and the University of California, and he is currently pursuing doctoral research in Quantum Weapons, bridging ancient Indian strategic thought with modern defence technologies — aligning with Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Global Recognition, National Purpose

The Kalki Sena is recognised by the London Book of Records as the world’s largest civilian combatant volunteer organisation. Its training framework is now studied across India as a model for community resilience.

Before the Pahalgam terror attack, Dwivedi and his team submitted a civilian command proposal to Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, envisioning a citizen support structure for counter-terror operations. What once seemed visionary is now seen as prescient in India’s evolving security landscape.

Doctrine of Lawful Strength

Adjutant General Gaurav Pandey highlighted the unique identity of Kalki Sena:

“We don’t stage dharnas, candle marches, or gheraos. We create a lawful, powerful Hindu citizen base that deters threats while supporting the Government of India in protecting the motherland.”

Board members Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharya and Mr. Alok Kumar were acknowledged for their guidance and mentorship.

A Symbol of Awakened Civil Spirit

As graduates received their insignia and the national flag rose over Noida, the essence was clear: Kalki Sena is awakening citizens, not just training fighters.

The 2025 batch reaffirmed a vision of civil society rooted in discipline and Dharma, standing lawfully alongside the state yet inspired by the timeless spirit of Sanatan Bharat — where Shakti and Dharma unite for the defence of the motherland.
